We LOVE designing natural outdoor play spaces for children! Congratulations to one of our clients, Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities Early Childhood Partnership, for winning Growing to Green's 'Sustainability Garden of the Year' for 2018! The award is well-deserved: both FCBDD schools have incredible outdoor spaces that have been designed to encourage their 900 children ages 6 months to 6 years to explore and experiment in a safe, beautiful natural environment. The outdoor learning environments have some very unique features, including a serpent mound, creek-like water features, willow huts, e
dible gardens, pocket orchards, a potting shed created from historic Ohio barn siding, and 'wild' native plant areas. Congratulations again, and let's please continue to partner in developing these spaces for many more years to come!
